Magnus Funemyr har written the titletrack for the new danish drama series "2900 Happiness" with his partner Emil Gotthard. Emil & Magnus (12Bit Production) has co-written and produced 6 tracks for Thomas Barsoe's next album.
Magnus Funemyr is based in Stockholm where he has his studio. He has been a touring musician for many years and he has been working with some of the biggest Swedish artists from Lisa Nilsson, Bjorn Skifs, Jill Johnson to Siw Malmqvist. The last couple of years Magnus have been focusing more and more on writing songs for others which resulted in cuts with platinum selling Japanese artist Tackey & Tsubasa, JTL in Korea and Finnish Idol winner Hanna Pakarinen. About a year ago he teamed up with Emil Gotthard and formed 12 Bit Productions. Since then they have been writing and/or produced for gold selling Danish band B-Boys and their song was also used in the computer game "Agent Hugo", Jakob Sveistrup, Danni Elmo, Simon Mathew and songs on forthcoming albums from Danish artists Simone and Julie. Emil Gotthard har written the titletrack for the new danish drama series "2900 Happiness" with his partner Magnus Funemyr. Emil & Magnus (12Bit Production) has co-written and produced 6 tracks for Thomas Barsoe's next album.
Tanya Stephens reached #1 with her single "These Street" on the chart in Jamaica which is co-written with Emil Gotthard who also produced it. At the same time her new album "Rebelution" entered Billboard Top Reggae albums at #11 with the song "Spilt Milk" (co-written by Emil).
Teaming up with writer/producer Magnus Funemyr they started 12 Bit Productions and they have written the end title song "You Gotta Give" for new animated film called "The Ugly Duckling And Me" that is performed by Danni Elmo feat. Anne Holse. The film is sold to 22 countries so far. The song is taken from Danni Elmo's debut album "Back For More" which is also the title track co-written by Emil. He also has two songs on the forthcoming album with Danish artist Simone and also one song on Magdolna Rusza who is the winner of Hungarian Pop Idols.
After he finished his musical education in Stockholm he started as a touring musician playing guitar with Dilba, Stephen Simmonds, Jennifer Brown, Nils Landgren, Blacknuss, Tanya Stephens, Magnum Coltrane Price among others. Later on he started working together with Peter Cartriers as producer and writer for other artists. Together with Peter they co-wrote and co-produced Jamaican dancehall queen Tanya Stephens pop album ”Sintoxicated”. Emil continued to work with Tanya and they co-wrote ”This Love” that ended up on her next album on VP Records with Wyclef Jean singing on the track as well. Next project that Emil produced and co-wrote was Swedish writer/artist Isak that was signed to Peter Cartriers label Monumental Recordings. Emil co-wrote one song and played on Stephen Simmonds second album ”For Father”. He has also written songs for Sanne Salomonsen’s platinum album ”Freedom” and her latest album ”The Album” which is gold in Denmark and she is also using the song in her show ”The Show”. Others he has written for are Jannik (DK), Sol Flower (Korea), Kamery (Germany). He wrote 3 songs and produced most of Marc Sway’s album ”Marc’s Way” for BMG Germany. Later on he ended up producing a couple of songs in Orlando for Natural’s second album and he also produced and co-wrote a track on UK artist Karen Davies album on BMG Germany.
